During the pandemic so many of us have been spending time at home or working from home and it's only natural that we want to create a spcae that we love and that is comfortable and bespoke to us. If you are looking to spruce up your house but need a little colour inspiration, revealed by Dulux here are the top colours to look out for in 2021.
Neutral Tones
If you want to create a calm cosy look, then neutral colours like light browns, beiges or creams. Wether you are creating a rustic farmhouse kitchen, a cosy living room or a warm modern contemporary dining room these tones are so versatile that they can be used to create any look in any part of the house.
Warm Reds, Plums & Pinks
Do you fancy going for something bold? If so then the warm red colours, plums, rich purples and pinks are worth exploring. You can team these colours with modern contemporary accessories and furnishings to create a bold chic look in the bedroom or a rich luxurious dining area or living space. If you want a room that is warm and cosy try adding warm wood or dark wood acessories and furnishings to the space.
Greens
Green represents nature, growth and energy, it is a calming and soothing colour that can alleviate anxiety, depression, and nervousness and this is also a popular colour choice for 2021. It's the prefect colour if you are wanting to create a rustic farmhouse style kitchen look, a living area with lots of greenary, a bathroom with foliage or a tropical bedroom. Did you know that you can make a room look taller by adding greenary at differnet levels in the room.
