The Press Vice is designed to be used with a Drill Press. By fastening the Vice to the Drill Press table you are able to maximise the accuracy of the drilling operation by ensuring that the Press Vice will not move and the drill-bit will not catch and spin what it is that you're drilling.

Using a combination of large flanges on the Vice itself and durable bolts, a Press Vice can be fastened securely to the table of a Drill Press. A Record Vice like those manufactured by 'Woodcraft' are designed for general use and therefore fastened to a work-bench via permanent fastenings on the underside of the surface.
